  The filmmakers use cinematic language such external sounds, Musical tracks, tracking shot and the Dutch tilt to manipulate the viewers reaction. Starting the first scene we could observe the angle changes make us get a different perception of what the film is about, in this case it was suspense. At the same time the external sounds were giving a different environment to the scene, this includes intense emotions such as dreading because we could feel what was going to happen and what was present when  the angles started to follow the protagonist. The filmmakers also used a clean static shot to variate through the location of the scene, this also manipulates our experience through the film the angle of the monster was not very predictable and got me by surprise. The different angle shots mentioned affect the film dramatically, it can shape the way the film is meant to be told and how it is intended to sound, it  helps us engage with the film it elevates the audiences...

The Bald Eagle 3D Model. For this project I chose The United States of Americas Nationals Symbol. Also known as the Haliaeetu s  leucocephalus. It was almost extinct and declared endangered it needed the endangered species act in order to be preserved, today the Bald eagle is safe from extinction. According to the website Eagles.org there are over 9,800 male and female nesting, Its main causes of extinction were Habitat destruction, degradation and illegal shooting in fact the Bald eagle gained protection until 1940 by the congress and it was named “Bald and Golden eagle protection act” it consists of prohibiting hunting of any type towards the Bald Eagle, habitat protection to keep the Bald Eagle safe. Luckily now its species is expanding and is now safe form any danger due to the effort of the Americans. This image was used for the inspiration of the model.   Body language throughout  the music video might be their way of expressing their message. Their body language is representing the story as he sings. According to stageminded.com “In dance our purpose is to express emotions, communicate physically, allowing those feelings to travel through the body.” This demonstrates Dance can be a nonverbal form of communication through our movements. The video transmits a sense of gender equality because not only women can dance the way they are during the music video. The Sam Smith Music video relates to Butler’s theory of gender performance by changing the perspective that we can only perform based on feminism and masculinity. In fact Sam smith also said in an interview ‘I’m not male or female’. How it relates to Judith's Butler view of representation.                                                         Girls Chase boys. The video clip girls chase boys by Ingrid Michaelson shows Men as back up dancers instead of women which is commonly used for music videos in order to break a form of gender stereotype. It achieves this meaning through the use of wardrobe makeup and choreography. I chose this form this music video clip because Ingrid Michaelson made it as a tribute or also considered alike to Robert Palmer's film because he used women instead of men, Ingrid Michaelson had a clear message of we all are the same and we deserved to be accepted as equals. In the music video we can see the back up dancer dressed and using makeup as filmmakers or the music industry would put on women. Mise en scène is considered everything related to a certain film this includes its lighting, costumes, voices, actors and décor. During this quarter of school i spent time doing further research on why Directors use  Mise en scène and how they use it, I came to understand that Film Directors make use of this in order to convoy their message to the public and deliver a feeling of curiosity to the public, this can relate to Stuarts Hall Theory because there is something the Directors want us to encode. In other words the publics perspective of the movie may depend on the setting directors have chosen.
